- Support the Membership Manager to achieve the Business Plan objectives for the region.
- Provide advice on civil engineering careers and qualifications to aspiring members and students.
- Oversee the delivery of employer-led training schemes and mentor-supported programs.
- Conduct employer visits and workshops to offer advice on membership and professional development.
- Support local Early Careers Network (ECNet) groups to plan and execute relevant activities.
- Plan and manage your diary for efficient operation.
- Ensure accurate processing of Supervising Civil Engineer, Mentor and Approved Employer applications.
- Evaluate and improve the effectiveness of employer-led training schemes.
- Collaborate with other membership recruitment colleagues and external bodies to share best practices.
- Strong IT skills, including proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and ability to learn database tools such as MemSys and PowerBI.
- Significant experience within civil engineering or construction industries, learning and development or customer service.
- Proven experience in managing a varied workload and balancing priorities.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to deliver presentations to varied audiences.
- Degree or equivalent experience in civil engineering, customer service, or learning and development.
- Membership of a professional engineering institution.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively and interact credibly with members at all levels.
- Full driving license and access to a vehicle for business use.
