Multi-Skilled Building Maintenance Engineer

Salary £38,000 PER ANNUM & TRAVEL TIME

We are working directly with a highly reputable and well known facilities management contractor who specialise in providing all round building maintenance services to clients within the commercial sector.

Due to expansion and long term contract wins we are looking to recruit a Multi-Skilled Maintenance engineer to provide PPM's and reactive maintenance on a number of commercial sites in and around Bristol. The purpose of this role is to look after all site building maintenance and deliver planned and reactive maintenance.

This role is multi skilled covering mechanical and electrical maintenance.

Role:

  • You will be based on site covering all building maintenance works across this commercial site.
  • Carrying out a wide range of mechanical and electrical maintenance works.
  • PPM and reactive maintenance works.
  • You will ensure that the site is statutorily compliant and accurate records are kept up to date, as well as maintaining a high standard of work by following safe working practices.
  • You'll be supporting your own dedicated site as our client's first point of call for PPM and reactive M&E and other general building services maintenance. Tasks could include emergency light testing, fire alarms, lamp changes, basic plumbing, and fabric work.
  • You'll enjoy working autonomously, where you will be responsible for delivering planned and preventative maintenance, fault finding and repair work. Ideally, you will have the ability to confidently carry out a range of other mechanical tasks as well

Person:

  • Facilities maintenance experience
  • You will hold 17th or 18th edition OR will have HVAC experience
  • "On the job" experience working in a maintenance role
  • Strong communication skills and work ethic
  • Awareness and knowledge of health & safety

Package:

  • Base salary £38,000.00
