An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a Planning Engineer to join a leading name in engineering on a major multi billion-pound framework. The Planning Engineer will join an experienced team that are responsible for delivering a large portfolio of complex projects for a key client.

The Planning Engineer will be an integral part of their project delivery team, responsible for developing and maintaining comprehensive project schedules, facilitating effective communication between stakeholders, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.

The Planning Engineer will collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to develop realistic and achievable project plans while identifying and mitigating potential risks.

Duties

  • Develop and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6 software
  • Liaise with the project team and subcontractors to gather necessary information for schedule development and progress reporting
  • Analyze schedule performance and report on any deviations from the plan
  • Provide support to the project team in project planning and progress reporting
  • Work closely with the project team to identify and manage any schedule risks
  • Participate in project meetings and present schedule status reports
  • Contribute to the development of project control procedures
