Principal / Associate Town Planner

Penguin Recruitment is pleased to be supporting one of the world's leading multi-disciplinary consultancy firms in their hire of a talented and ambitious Planning Consultant at Principal / Associate level to support further broaden their successful team of Planning and Environmental Consultants!

The role:

The current team is one of the UKs leading Planning and Environmental assessment consultancies, at the forefront of thought-leadership in Planning and delivery of infrastructure and development. The current team influence government thinking on infrastructure delivery and provide planning advice in the UK to central and devolved governments, local authorities, and major landowners including utilities and the private sector.

The team is currently providing planning and environmental support on major UK projects for clients across water, rail, HS2, and major road schemes for National Highways, and are leading the delivery of schemes for new homes and supporting infrastructure on a range of complex sites.

The successful candidate will support the team in the preparation of applications for a range of projects and will prepare and implement planning strategies to deliver projects and development proposals, delivering high quality advise, reports, and presentations. You will develop client networks and collaborate with colleagues across the company to win work!

About you:

We are seeking applications from candidates who hold a relevant Planning degree and MRTPI Chartership. You will ideally have proven experience in managing and delivering multi-disciplinary projects, with the ability to work alongside and coordinate internal and external teams. You will have strong report writing, verbal, and presentation skills.
