As part of their continued growth, they are looking for a Principal Civil Engineer to lead and support the delivery of a diverse range of infrastructure projects.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage civil engineering projects from concept to completion, ensuring high technical standards and efficient project delivery.
- Provide technical expertise in highway and drainage design, with experience in Section Agreements 278, 38, 185, and 104.
- Work closely with clients, local authorities, and stakeholders, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring project success.
- Oversee and mentor junior engineers, supporting the growth and development of the team.
- Engage in business development activities, identifying opportunities to expand services and client relationships.
- Ensure projects comply with industry standards, health and safety regulations, and best practices.
Key Requirements:
- 10+ years’ experience in civil engineering, with a strong background in UK design consultancy.
- Â Extensive knowledge of residential sector projects.
- Strong commercial awareness and client liaison experience.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, WinDes, or equivalent software.
- Ability to lead and manage teams, with a hands-on approach to design and project delivery.
- Strong communication, organisation, and presentation skills.
