Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting detailed site investigations to collect and analyse soil, rock and groundwater data
- Preparing and managing geotechnical investigations
- Compiling factual and interpretative reports to support project decisions
- Liaising with clients and stakeholders to provide expert advice and recommendations
- Ensuring all work is carried out in compliance with health and safety regulations and industry standards
- Managing and supervising on-site drilling, sampling and testing activities
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver successful project outcomes
- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the geotechnical department
Job Requirements:
- Experience in geotechnical engineering roles
- Strong foundation in geotechnical investigation techniques and principles
- Proficiency with relevant software and geotechnical testing methods
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and report writing abilities
- Understanding of health and safety regulations in the field
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- A relevant engineering degree or equivalent qualification
