A leading national construction company is seeking a knowledgeable Building Regulations Advisor to join their team in Bristol.

The Building Regulations Advisor Role

As a Building Regulations Advisor, you will be the go-to expert for ensuring all projects adhere to the latest building standards and compliance requirements. Collaborating with design teams, contractors, and clients, you will oversee compliance checks, provide technical advice, and support projects across various sectors, including residential, commercial, and industrial developments.

Building Regulations Advisor Key Responsibilities

* Provide expert advice on Building Regulations and compliance requirements.* Conduct plan checks and technical reviews to ensure regulatory compliance.* Work closely with project teams to embed compliance throughout the design and construction phases.* Collaborate with clients and contractors to resolve design and compliance issues.* Stay updated on changes to Building Regulations and provide training and updates to internal teams.* Help continue building the BSA team across Bristol.

The Building Regulations Advisor

* Degree in a construction-related field or equivalent professional experience.* Strong knowledge of Building Regulations and compliance processes.* Background in architecture, building control, or a similar technical role is highly desirable.* Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical information.* Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.* Professional membership with RICS, CABE, or CIOB is an advantage.
