- Analyse quotations and ensure pricing reflects the requirements
- Coordinating Take Offs
- Liaising with clients, design teams and stakeholders
- Pricing and researching alternative designs, materials and methods
- Managing tender risk and opportunity schedule
- Attending bid and tender reviews and adjudications
- Review evaluation criteria and developing strategies
- Preparing the tender documentation and submission
- Hold a construction or engineering related qualification to min HNC level
- Possess previous experience in an estimating position with a recognised main contractor
- Knowledge and understanding of the Civil Engineering sector, rail experience is advantageous
- Strong commercial acumen and fully competent in producing measurements, take offs and first principle calculations
- Be a collaborative, team player who is able to communicate well with good presentation skills
