Managing Building Surveyor

Location: Bristol (Hybrid working - 3 days a week in the office)

Salary: £60,000 - £65,000 per year

Panoramic are working in partnership with a leading engineering and construction consultancy in their search for Managing Building Surveyor working with key clients such as Royal Mail, multi-academy trusts, and local authorities.

This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious professional to work with high-profile clients across Bristol and Wiltshire.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a variety of building surveying projects, with a focus on project delivery and close-outs.
  • Develop strong client relationships and take on a client-facing role.
  • Mentor junior staff and support their professional growth.
  • Take on leadership responsibilities as the team evolves
  • Work across key sectors, including education, social housing, and healthcare.
  • Collaborate with the wider team to deliver outstanding results for clients.

What were looking for:

  • Chartered status (MRICS) is preferred, but not essential.
  • Strong background in project-focused building surveying, ideally with experience in education, social housing, healthcare, or similar sectors.
  • Excellent communication and client-facing skills, with the ability to manage and grow client relationships.
  • Ambitious and eager to take on a leadership role as the team grows.
  • A proactive, hands-on approach to project delivery and problem-solving.
