Key Responsibilities:
- Designing and implementing 20mph schemes, highway improvements, and traffic management solutions
- Managing car parking and resident parking projects
- Overseeing cycleway schemes and pedestrian crossings
- Conducting consultations, procurement processes, and site supervision
- Collaborating with contractors and monitoring project progress on-site
- Ensuring project delivery aligns with safety and regulatory standards
Job Requirements:
- Experience in highway engineering, particularly within the HTP sector
- Proficiency in AutoCAD
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to attend team meetings on Wednesdays and regularly visit sites
- Understanding of traffic management and pedestrian safety principles
