An exciting opportunity for a highly skilled and driven Senior Associate Fire Engineer with a diverse background in Fire Safety, Expert Witness, Building Safety and Business Development to join a dynamic, forward-thinking multidisciplinary property consultancy, based out of one of their UK offices.

The Role: Senior Associate Fire EngineerAs the right-hand to the newly appointed Head of Fire, you will play a pivotal role in the strategic growth and development of fire safety services. You will deliver value to clients, including developers and investor companies, across a diverse range of sectors-Residential, Commercial, Industrial, and Retail.

Key Responsibilities of the Senior Associate Fire Engineer include:

  • Leading Building Safety Act cases
  • Crafting comprehensive Fire Safety Strategies
  • Conducting third-party reviews and ensuring full project compliance
  • Managing government funding applications
  • Delivering Fire Risk Assessments
  • Acting as an Expert Witness in relevant cases
  • Conducting External Wall Appraisals including FRAEW and EWS1 assessments
  • Providing support throughout the full project lifecycle
  • Engaging directly with clients to provide tailored, holistic fire safety solutions
  • Driving business development initiatives
  • Assisting in the growth and expansion of the wider fire safety team

The Ideal Senior Associate Fire Engineer will possess:

  • A strong track record in a similar role
  • A relevant degree or master's qualification MEng, MSc Fire Safety Engineering or related (preferred but not essential)
  • Additional certifications such as Chartership (desirable but not required)
  • Proven experience in team and project management
  • A background in multidisciplinary consultancy (highly preferred)

  • Salary: £80,000 - £95,000
  • Generous Car allowance
  • AIP - TBC at offer stage, estimated around 8-10% of basic salary. More info on the structure attached.
  • EOT bonus (again discretionary and fairly new, so limited data but for the last 2 quarters we all got around £600 (tax free exc. NI and student loan)
  • Annual leave - 30 days + your birthday + bank holidays
  • We operate a buy/sell annual leave policy and a bank holiday swap for religious or cultural reasons.
  • Hybrid working - 2/3 days per week in the office

  • Salary reviews each year in May, and promotion opportunities 2 times a year
