Position: After Sales Support                                                                                                                                 

Location: Bristol

Job Type: Permanent

Accurate, dedicated and knowledgeable, our Sales team are focussed on maximising sales and new business development opportunities.  The primary purpose of this job is to support the sales team by taking responsibility for all aftersales work to ensure our customers are cared for and that this side of the business grows.

Role and Responsibilities –

New Customer Development

  • Responding rapidly (within 2 hours) to incoming requests for aftersales support from customers. 
  • Maintaining an accurate, up-to-date log of all despatches to customers and following them up in a timely manner to a) ensure satisfaction and b) gain further business in the form of aftersales work.
  • Handle all enquiries for spare parts, providing rapid quotations for customers and following up to get the order.  Working with the relevant teams to ensure on time delivery.
  • Handle all the service contract work (both planned and reactive) and work closely with the operations and scheduling department to ensure maximum efficiency.
  • Achieving sales growth in this side of the business.

Existing Customer Development

  • Planning, preparing, and visiting existing customers, if required (when age qualified)
  • Providing a strong account management customer enquiry service for all of your allocated accounts:
    • Managing enquiries by phone initially
    • Complete quotation follow ups
  • Completing ‘Project checklist’ for the External Operations Team where no quote is required
  • Proactively request referrals from existing clients
  • Collaborating well with other function managers
  • Following all Health and Safety procedures as outlined in the Health and Safety Policy, ensuring a tidy and safe workplace at all times
  • Carefully maintaining company vehicles and cleanliness at all times and adhering to the Company Vehicle Policy

Administration

  • Attending at and fully contributing to all weekly sales meetings
  • Attendance at Weekly 1:1 meeting with Sales Manager
  • Attendance at the daily Huddle meetings with Sales Managers
  • Managing emails and referring appropriate emails to the Operations team
  • Maintain CRM daily with details of customer contact, activity, opportunities and pipeline management

  • Commitment to uphold the company values in your role duties
  • Achievement of KPI’s as set by your sales manager and agreed with yourself
  • Achievement of growth in your category and meeting of quarterly targets
  • Attendance at Accountability 1:1’s and daily Huddle meetings with a clear plan for next week
