Your new companyYour new company is a Main Contractor and have taken over the construction of a £30m+ project in Bristol. They are recruiting a Commercial Manager to join the team in Bristol on a freelance or fixed term contract basis. Your new roleAs a Commercial Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the commercial success of a high-end apartment project in Bristol. You'll oversee cost management, contract administration, and procurement activities. Collaborating closely with project managers, architects, and contractors.Key Responsibilities:
- Manage cost estimates, budgets, and financial reporting
- Conduct risk assessments and implement effective cost control measures
- Lead a team of Quantity Surveyors, providing guidance and support
- Collaborate with stakeholders to optimise project outcomes
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Procurement of circa 30 packages.
What you'll need to succeed
- Previous experience in a Commercial Manager or Senior Surveyor role with a Tier 1 Main Contractor.
- High-end residential project delivery experience.
- High level contract knowledge.
- Strong procurement, budgeting, forecasting and reporting skills
- Excellent IT, analytical and negotiation skills
What you'll get in return
- Salary up to £100k
