Reed Property and Construction are delighted to be working with a major client who are looking for a Commercial Manager to lead on a large development in Bristol. This role is a two year fixed term Contract,
In this role you will take the lead in the delivery on an NEC or JCT contract  as the client nominated Quantity Surveyor  able to understand the administration of the contract and lead the project and Main Contractor to successful delivery.
Duties include:
•             Ensure that projects are effectively managed in accordance with business objectives and scheme approval and accurately reflect costs, income, funding, programme and quality requirements to optimise the benefit to the Group and contribute to its core business.
•             Use Pamwin and/or other appraisal software to appraise and monitor the financial performance of projects.
•             Manage the relationships with Consultants and Contractors/Developers appointed throughout the development process.
•             Effectively manage, monitor and control project budgets
•       Provide Valuations
•             Set up Packages for subcontractors
For this role candidates will be Commercial Managers ideally having been the Project QS on large projects, Apartment experience would be a plus.
 You will be able demonstrate a detailed and complete understanding of contract obligations which is complemented with a good working knowledge and experience of contract administration, including interim payments.
