About the Role:From a globally significant aerospace client, this full-time, hybrid role, offers an opportunity to contribute directly to the strategic expansion of the Chinook and Apache portfolios. Based primarily in Bristol with 2-3 days of office attendance per week, the position supports a high-profile business growth project within the client’s Vertical Lift division. Reporting to the Head of Commercial, the role will collaborate closely with the Senior Commercial Manager and work within an integrated bid team across the UK and USA, engaging with the UK MoD and supporting new business acquisition efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing commercial support for new business campaigns and strategic growth initiatives.
  • Drafting and negotiating contracts, including DEFCON terms and conditions, KPIs, and compliance with Defence Contracting regulations.
  • Developing and implementing commercial strategies.
  • Managing customer relationships with a focus on quality, responsiveness, and collaboration.
  • Ensuring compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinating with internal stakeholders across finance, programme management, and business development.
  • Leading proposal drafting, contractual negotiations, and internal review processes.
  • Operating with a high level of independence while managing a dynamic and fast-paced workload.
