- This Commercial Manager position is a non-management role that will directly support the strategic growth of military helicopter portfolios. This role is full-time with hybrid working, the primary working location will be Bristol with office attendance 2-3 days per week.Reporting to the Head of Commercial, this role will support the Senior Commercial Manager with a high profile business growth project. This role requires working within an integrated bid team in the UK and USA, close collaboration with the UK MoD customer and strong knowledge of new business acquisition.Particular areas of focus are:路 Commercial support for new business campaigns and strategic growth路 Contract drafting路 DEFCON, T&C and KPI generation and negotiation路 Qualifying Defence Contract compliance路 Development and implementation of commercial strategy路 Excellent customer relationship management路 First-time quality路 Fast and effective responsiveness to emerging needs and requirements路 Integrated business partnering with stakeholders路 Ability to manage a diverse, fast-paced workload路 A high degree of independenceResponsibilities:This position is expected to fulfil a variety of tasks and responsibilities typically associated with a Commercial technical role, including, but not limited to:路 Leads the drafting of proposal and contractual language.路 Participates in the proposal and negotiation of agreements utilising approved contract terms and conditions.路 Support proposal reviews in line with the internal gated process.路 Supports / leads coordination and partnership with other internal functional disciplines, integrating business / finance / programme priorities to create solutions that balance business financial performance and customer relationship management路 Supports the development and documentation of guidance related to new and updated contractual regulatory requirements.路 Ensures compliance in the performance of contractual and business commitments, company policies, laws and regulations.
