Head of Agency / Board Director / Managing Director - PR agency
Here’s news of a superb and very rarely available role in Bristol role to join the board of a hugely successful PR agency with offices in Bristol and people in London!
So, by that we mean that the agency has some of the team members based in London, but mostly the team is based from Bristol or close surrounds.
Let’s get the housekeeping out of the way first….wherever you live, you need to be happy to spend two days a week based in the Bristol office, more if the business and team needs you there! And that needs to be perfectly fine with you, as in not a chore! The business will pay reasonable travel expenses and hotel/AirBnB, to accommodate this, but it’s probably a good thing if you’d like to eventually move to the South West to be nearer the office, this role has potential for equity as well as being a senior role in the first place, so you need to demonstrate commitment.
So, two days a week in Bristol office, the rest remote.
Let’s talk about the type of agency….PR, comms, digital and social (leading with PR) and consumer clients (HUGE brand names and smaller clients too, and all consumer)
So you must have PR agency experience first and foremost, in a senior leadership role. You must have solid consumer client experience with big budgets and diverse clients.
The actual title on your contract for this role might be Board Director, Managing Director, Head of Agency….so if you are really bothered about your job title, might not be the right job for you, as you need to demonstrate your leadership skills, your superb P&L knowledge and ability, and your natural (and proven) new business experience and results. This is the main focus of this role. Already in the business is a superb board director who focuses on people and operations, so we are recruiting this new position to concentrate on the P&L and new business, making the board of four the absolute dream team!
The founders are offering a six-figure salary for this role, plus an amazing benefits package, and equity down the line, hence the notes above about a rarely available opportunity!
