The Opportunity

The client is willing to train CNC Miller in the ways of the aerospace sector providing they have got a strong background of operating and setting CNC-controlled Milling machines, on all 3, 4 and 5 axis.

£36,(Apply online only) Per Annum

Benefits
• Overtime is paid at time and a half during weekdays and Saturdays.
• 25 Days + Statutory Holidays
• Pension scheme of which the company will contribute 4.5% of salary.
• Annual bonus based on % of company profitability 

Hours

Days and Afters M-T 6:00am-2:00pm /2:00pm-10:pm. Fri 7:00-2:00, 38 hours per week

Role and Responsibilities

  • Setting and Operating CNC Milling Machines (3, 4 and 5 axis)
  • Maintaining high standard of quality
  • Product compliance through manufacture processing adherence
  • Basic CNC programming

The Candidate

The ideal candidate for this role with be an apprentice trained CNC Miller Setter and Operator, who is experienced in all work relevant to the successful operation of 3, 4 and 5 axis CNC Machines, ideally within an aerospace environment..

Essential

  • Setting and Operating CNCs
  • Experience on 3, 4 and 5 axis machines
  • Competent in accurately interpreting customer drawings and specifications
  • Competent in using all types of standard measuring equipment
  • Manufacturing background

Desirable

  • HAAS CNC experience
  • Operating CMMs, ideally Aber Link
  • Apprentice Trained
  • Aviation experience
