Are you a Hydraulic Modeller keen to join an innovative and supportive Modelling Team in Bristol or Cardiff?

Would you like to work on new and interesting projects and help with the expansion of the team?

Candidates are required to have a strong academic background and experience working for a UK based Consultancy specialising in flood risk assessments and hydraulic modelling using Flood Modeller and Tuflow.

It is also beneficial for applicants to reside in the South West and have experience managing varied projects.

Typically the role will involve varied residential, healthcare, higher education, flood alleviation and natural flood management projects for both public and private sector Clients.

You will also be required to complete the following;
-Hydraulic modelling and model build using Flood Modeller and Tuflow.
-Flood risk assessments, flood consequence assessments and nutrient neutrality assessments.
-Hydrological assessments.
-Natural flood management, wetland management and re-wilding projects.
-Flood risk mapping and estimation.
-Support new team members and check technical flood risk/complex hydraulic modelling using Flood Modeller and Tuflow.
-Frequent liaison with Private Sector Clients and Local Authorities to develop new opportunities and ensure projects are delivered to time and budget.
