Project Manager/Site ManagerUp to £48,000

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Multi Site Manager/Project Manager with a strong background in commercial construction to join our team.

As Multi Site Manager/Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing multiple construction sites across Somerset. You will use your expertise to manage contractors, coordinate schedules, and ensure that all projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.

Our ideal candidate is someone who is not afraid to get their hands dirty and is passionate about the construction industry. You should also possess strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and exceptional problem-solving abilities.

Key responsibilities:

- Manage multiple construction sites, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget- Supervise contractors and subcontractors, providing guidance and support as needed- Collaborate with project managers and architects to ensure construction plans are executed accurately- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, quality, and safety standards- Review and approve contractor invoices and expenses- Act as a primary contact for client communication, providing updates and addressing any concerns- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment- Implement and enforce health and safety policies and procedures- Identify and resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise on site- Prepare and maintain project documentation, including progress reports and financial records- Assist with recruiting and training new team members as needed

Requirements:

- Minimum of 5 years experience in commercial construction as a Multi Site Manager or similar role- Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines- Strong leadership and team management skills- Proven track record of successfully managing multiple construction sites simultaneously- Solid understanding of health and safety regulations and procedures- Strong communication skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with contractors, clients, and team members- Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management software
