Project Assistant Lead

Bristol (Hinkley Point C project)

Salary - £30,000 - £40,000

To Project Assistant Lead will support project management administration activities and document control activities by coordinating tasks, resources and communication among team members. This role is pivotal in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with organisational goals.

Based in our clients Bristol office, the job holder will be working within a project team of 10 to 15 people directly supporting the delivery of a project.

Principal Accountabilities

  • Assist in planning, executing and monitoring project activities, ensuring adherence to timelines
  • Supervise and mentor project assistants, fostering a collaborative and productive team environment
  • Serve as primary point of contact for project stakeholders, facilitating clear and effective communication
  • Ensure project documentation registers (incoming and outgoing) are maintained to the required standards within the management system
  • Reviewing documents and making quality checks before formal recording and issuance
  • Ensure Document Management System (Sharepoint) is maintained and up to date
  • Support on administration tasks on a number of projects:

Formatting of key documents, reports

Making team member's travel arrangements,

Recording travel expenses for project invoicing,

Carrying out any other reasonable duties within the overall function of the role.

  • Support internal audits to ensure compliance with procedures and implement corrective actions as necessary
