We are seeking a dedicated Site Manager to oversee daily operations at our Bristol site before transitioning to a brand-new Avonmouth facility in April 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead a team of drivers and administrative staff, ensuring smooth and efficient site management while driving high standards of safety, compliance, and customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee site operations, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, CPC requirements, tachograph record-keeping, and fleet maintenance schedules.
  • Maintain the highest safety and security standards, working with internal specialists and regulatory bodies while acting as an emergency call-out key holder.
  • Ensure full compliance with company policies and external regulatory requirements.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team by providing training, resources, and ongoing performance reviews.
  • Manage resource allocation effectively, ensuring operational efficiency and excellent customer service.
  • Drive continuous improvement by monitoring key performance indicators and implementing best practices.
Key Requirements
  • Proven experience in people management and leadership.
  • Strong knowledge of transport regulations, employment legislation, and operational compliance.
  • Experience in a management or supervisory role within a service-driven environment.
  • Financial management experience is advantageous.
  • IT literate with the ability to manage reporting and compliance systems.
  • Desirable: ADR certificate, experience with hazardous goods, formal safety qualification (IOSH, NEBOSH), and Management CPC.
