Seeking an experienced Design Manager for an £40 million pound legacy project in Bristol.
This is a project with 2 years remaining on a Construction Management contract, with a project value of £30-40 million.
They are seeking a Design Manager to aid with the delivery of the project.
In this role you will be responsible for keeping the design information flowing. Managing the Design Consultants and dealing with subcontractor design issues.
Duties will include:
• Chairing regular design team meetings; Maintaining details records of actions.
• Management of consultant design team and sub-contractor design team.
• Regular liaison with client, stakeholders, design team members and construction teams.
You will be keen to aid the delivery of the project, being site focused and being an excellent coordinator of designs.
For this role the client is seeking a candidate from am main contractor background, some residential experience would be an advantage.
You will have a good track record of success as a Design Manager, enjoying the delivery rather than preconstruction side of construction. This role is predominately onsite in Bristol.
