Programme DirectorExcellent opportunity to join a one of the leading Consultancies in Europe in leading a recently awarded £1 billion PMO programme.Location: - London / BristolSalary: £200,000 - £240,000 basic + Car or Allowance + BonusHybrid workingwith 3 days on-site in the client's office and 2 days from home.Role DescriptionThe Resolute Group has been retained by a Tier 1 consultancy, to Identify and secure a Programme Director to take the lead on £1bn+ improvement programme. With a mixture of strategy delivery of the PMO, controlling various construction and infrastructure projects over a 10 year period.Working on behalf of the client in creating and managing the master programme, looking at the 10-year delivery programme, and bringing the supply chain together in a collaborative partnership. This role needs a proven Programme Director, leading either PMO's or Frameworks, used to being in partnership with the end client.As the Programme Director leading the PMO and construction portfolio, you will be leading an experienced team of professionals including, Commercial, Finance, Project Delivery, Risk and Project Controls. With a core team of direct reports managing a much larger supply chain at peak in excess of 1000 people.The role will cover different skill sets throughout the Programme, these will include:

  • Strategic Oversight: Overseeing the portfolio at a strategic level, ensuring alignment with broader organizational goals.
  • Performance Management: Monitoring and driving performance across the portfolio, focusing on key metrics like cost, time, and quality.
  • Risk Management: Identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks that could impact the portfolio's success.
  • Stakeholder Management: Effectively engaging with diverse stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and internal teams.
  • Change Management: Leading and managing change initiatives within the portfolio.

Due to the nature of the programme you need to be working on-site 3 days a week as part of the clients team. Lodgings can be provided but you need to build that into your work-life balance.The client details are confidential at this stage but can be discussed following a successful pre-screening interview, they wish to keep the volume of enquiries to a minimum.Qualifications / Experience

  • Degree - Minimum requirement in Quantity Surveying or Construction-based subject.
  • Major project experience - Being a lead on a major project as a minimum ideal over a portfolio of projects or framework lead.
  • This is NOT a hands-on delivery role, you need to be in a strategic position, ideally working for a consultancy.
  • Flexible to lodge away if required to meet the client's expectations for visibility on site.
