I am seeking a Project Director for a high-rise residential scheme in Bristol, this is a legacy project with 2 years remaining on a Construction Management contract, with a project value of £30-40 million.

The role is to lead and oversee the successful delivery of high-rise residential projects. This pivotal leadership role involves managing project lifecycles, ensuring quality, and fostering collaboration among multidisciplinary teams.

Day-to-day of the role:

Lead the delivery of high-rise residential apartment projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and budget.

Develop and manage project plans, schedules, and budgets.

Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and design teams.

Oversee compliance with all safety, environmental, and quality standards.

Provide leadership and mentorship to project managers and site teams.

Identify and mitigate risks, ensuring proactive problem-solving.

Drive innovation and value engineering to maximize project outcomes.

For this role the client is seeking a candidate with proven experience in delivering high-rise residential developments, from a main contractor background, ideally with tier 1 or 2 experience.

You will have a solid background in construction project management, with an emphasis on large-scale residential buildings.

Strong commercial acumen with the ability to manage budgets and resources effectively.

Exceptional leadership and communication skills to inspire and coordinate teams.

A degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field (preferred).

Knowledge of UK building regulations, health & safety standards, and sustainable practices.
