Project Manager - Drylining - LD282857

A leading construction firm, is seeking an experienced Drylining Project Manager to oversee a major project in the South West, with more projects in the pipeline. With a turnover of £65 million and approximately 150 members of staff, the company operates from multiple offices across the UK. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing site operations, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

This role requires a hands-on approach, with four days spent on-site and Fridays dedicated to office-based work or remote working. The successful candidate will have a strong background in drylining, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders effectively.

This role will be based in the South West, and looking to pay up to £80,000 for the right candidate.

Project Manager Job Overview
  • Oversee daily drylining activities on-site, ensuring progress aligns with plans.
  • Manage and allocate resources, including materials and labour.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate project documentation
  • Ensuring Health & Safety is adhered to across sites.
  • Reporting to company Director.
  • Instructing Labour on site.
  • Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Coordinate with clients, architects, and contractors to understand project requirements.
Project Manager Job Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager within the drylining sector.
  • Strong knowledge of drylining techniques, materials, and installation processes.
  • Ability to oversee and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams.
  • Excellent project planning, budgeting, and reporting skills.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and industry best practices.
  • Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Full UK driving license.
  • A valid SMSTS Card
  • Minimum NVQ Level 6 in Construction Management
Project Manager Salary & Benefits
  • Competitive salary of up to £80,000 per annum.
