An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a hands-on, professional Senior Construction Project Manager to join a market leading, Global Construction Consultancy in Bristol.

The Senior Construction Project Manager Role

The incoming Senior Project Manager will join the firms National Commissions team on retail projects in various locations throughout UK. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated candidate to join and strengthen their team.

The successful Senior Construction Project Manager will benefit from a flexible working environment, typically joining the team in the office two days a week (or more if desired), leading multiple projects from brief to completion.

You will manage key reports, meetings, progress updates, and bidding processes, ensuring compliance with procurement, commercial, and contractual strategies. Additionally, you'll oversee live operational projects, manage multi-disciplinary teams, and administer building contracts.

Long-term, you'll have clear progression to an Associate role, with opportunities to mentor junior team members and diversify project portfolios while ensuring value for money and maintaining top standards in safety, health, and quality.

The Senior Construction Project Manager

You will be highly involved in client-facing duties and able to work both independently, given the flexible nature of the role, as well as collaboratively within the wider team. Additionally, you should have:

  • Prior Project Management experience in the Construction industry
  • Previous experience working within a UK consultancy
  • A RICS-accredited degree (highly preferred)
  • Accreditation from RICS, APM, or CIOB, or a strong commitment to achieving it
  • A proven history of managing projects from inception to completion across all RIBA stages
