MUST HAVES: Proven experience managing contracts in commercial flooring, construction,or building services, preferably in heating or M&E projects.
We are recruiting on behalf ofa market leader in the commercial underfloor heating industry for a newly created position of Contracts Manager. Renowned for their innovative solutions, our client delivers energy-efficient, bespoke heating systems for a variety of commercial and residential projects. With a strong reputation for quality and excellence, they are trusted by contractors, developers, and architects across the UK.
As Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of underfloor heating projects, ensuring they are completed to the highest standards, on time, and within budget. Your role will include:
- Project Management: Manage contracts from inception to completion, ensuring effective planning and execution.
- Client Engagement: Act as the key point of contact for clients, addressing their requirements and maintaining excellent relationships.
- Team Coordination: Oversee on-site teams and subcontractors to ensure work is completed to specification.
- Budget Oversight: Monitor budgets, control costs, and drive profitability.
- Risk Mitigation: Identify potential risks and implement strategies to minimize delays and additional costs.
- Compliance: Ensure all work adheres to health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Documentation: Prepare and manage project reports, contracts, and relevant documentation.
We are looking for an experienced Contracts Manager with the following skills and qualifications:
- Experience: Proven track record managing construction contracts, ideally in the heating, building services, or mechanical & electrical sectors.
- Technical Acumen: Understanding of underfloor heating systems or similar technical installations is a significant advantage.
- Leadership Skills: Ability to lead teams and manage subcontractors effectively.
- Client-Focused: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to develop and maintain client relationships.
- Organized: Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- IT Proficiency: Experience using project management tools and MS Office Suite.
- Competitive base salary of £40,000-£50,000 + bonus + package.
