Harris Global are currently recruiting for a Contracts Supervisor to join a roofing client in their Bristol office with occasional visits to sites within the area.

Key responsibilities

  • Ensure all contract activities are conducted safely and comply with Health and Safety standards.
  • Plan, organize, and manage operations to achieve efficient and effective workflows aligned with company requirements.
  • Perform regular site audits (HS41 / HS41B) to evaluate Health and Safety compliance, Quality of Workmanship, Site Cleanliness, and Customer Care.
  • Uphold company standards related to Health, Safety, Quality, Environmental, and Service.
  • Record site activity, progress, and documentation using the WPA portal.
  • Participate in weekly Contracts Meetings and collaborate with other company functions as directed by the Service Centre Manager.
  • Monitor job costs and provide updates during weekly Contract Meetings.
  • Maintain clear communication with customer representatives, keeping them informed on project progress, developments, and key details.
  • Attend pre-contract handover meetings to optimize job profitability.
  • Minimize waste in alignment with profitability, environmental, and quality objectives.
  • Coordinate with material and plant supply chain partners to secure the best value for purchased products.
  • Process GRNs, delivery notes, and approve invoices as necessary.
  • Plan and respond to emergency daywork requirements.
  • Manage Service Centre stock levels, ensuring proper stock rotation and minimizing surplus inventory.
  • Monitor and utilize vehicle tracking systems effectively.
  • Leverage the NAV finance system to support the delivery of assigned projects.
  • Provide assistance to the Service Centre Manager to enhance operational efficiency and delivery.
