MMP Consultancy is seeking an experienced Contract Manager to join the Hard FM Procurement project team in Bristol. The role will be majority home-working, with occasional on-site attendance in Bristol. The day rate is 535 per day inside of IR35.

This role is to start as soon as possible until at least November 2025.

This role will primarily focus on the implementation and management of a new NEC4 FMC facilities management contract with a new supplier. You will help confidently implement the contract and develop the necessary internal processes, tools, and capabilities to manage it effectively throughout its lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the implementation of the new NEC4 FMC facilities management contract.
  • Develop internal processes, tools, and capabilities for managing the contract in life.
  • Provide strategic oversight to ensure efficient delivery and compliance with contractual terms.
  • Manage supplier performance and ensure value for money.
  • Oversee contract changes, negotiations, and financial monitoring.
  • Act as escalation point for contract issues, resolving disputes and mitigating risks.
  • Stay informed of contract management best practices to improve service delivery.


Qualifications & Skills:

  • Proven experience in implementing and managing NEC contracts.
  • Experience in contract negotiations and managing contracts at a senior level.
  • Strong understanding of contract law and performance management.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and relationship-building skills.
  • Knowledge of equalities and diversity issues.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Experience with facilities management contracts and public sector procurement.
  • Familiarity with using digital technology to improve service delivery.
