As a Test Engineer, you'll be part of a dynamic team working with high-tech and cutting-edge systems, taking ownership of allocated products and ensuring they're fully tested and ready for delivery. You'll actively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, enhance product quality, and support on-time project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Testing & Quality Assurance
    • Deliver fully functional and tested products while adhering strictly to test procedures.
    • Accurately document test results and ensure proper sign-off.
    • Improve product quality by capturing and reporting data for fault analysis (FRACAS).
  2. Problem-Solving
    • Diagnose faults quickly and effectively down to the component level.
    • Propose actionable solutions for problems encountered during testing.
  3. Process Improvement
    • Drive test time reduction through Continuous Improvement principles.
    • Actively promote and maintain 5S principles (organization and cleanliness).
  4. Customer Interaction
    • Support customer pre-acceptance visits.
    • Occasionally assist with system installations and commissioning at customer sites.
  5. Team Collaboration
    • Work closely with the Test Team Leader to meet manufacturing targets.
    • Contribute to a positive team environment and foster collaboration.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Education: Electrical apprenticeship or equivalent qualification (HND, HNC, or BTech Level 3).
  • Technical Ability:
    • Proficient in following test procedures and diagnosing faults.
    • IT literacy and awareness of Health & Safety standards.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to travel and work on a rotating shift pattern.
