As a Test Engineer, you'll be part of a dynamic team working with high-tech and cutting-edge systems, taking ownership of allocated products and ensuring they're fully tested and ready for delivery. You'll actively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, enhance product quality, and support on-time project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Testing & Quality Assurance
- Deliver fully functional and tested products while adhering strictly to test procedures.
- Accurately document test results and ensure proper sign-off.
- Improve product quality by capturing and reporting data for fault analysis (FRACAS).
- Problem-Solving
- Diagnose faults quickly and effectively down to the component level.
- Propose actionable solutions for problems encountered during testing.
- Process Improvement
- Drive test time reduction through Continuous Improvement principles.
- Actively promote and maintain 5S principles (organization and cleanliness).
- Customer Interaction
- Support customer pre-acceptance visits.
- Occasionally assist with system installations and commissioning at customer sites.
- Team Collaboration
- Work closely with the Test Team Leader to meet manufacturing targets.
- Contribute to a positive team environment and foster collaboration.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Electrical apprenticeship or equivalent qualification (HND, HNC, or BTech Level 3).
- Technical Ability:
- Proficient in following test procedures and diagnosing faults.
- IT literacy and awareness of Health & Safety standards.
- Flexibility: Willingness to travel and work on a rotating shift pattern.
