Job Title: Financial Planning Admin Manager

Salary: £35,000 - £42,000

Location: Bristol

This position is with an expanding, national financial planning practice that have several offices across the UK and are continuing to expand.

They are an independent firm that place an emphasis on client care and providing a tailored solution. They have a broad offering for clients, providing advice across a range of cases including Pensions, Investments, Protection, IHT, Tax & employee benefits along with some corporate financial planning.

They have long standing relationships with a great deal of their clients and have an excellent client-retention rate to go with this.

The Role

The role would involve managing an administrative team in the office as well as some members of the team further afield in other sites. There is an experienced team handling all aspects of the IFA administration in place already, so this role would have a focus around recruitment, development, training, management and growth of the administrative function within the business, rather than getting involved with the hands-on admin day to day.

Someone with experience providing feedback, training, conducting 1-2-1’s, and who has an interest in managing a team would suit this position best. A good level of pensions and investments knowledge and good understanding of how an IFA firm works would be desirable in this role.

The Required Skills:

  • Experience of working with an IFA or Wealth Management firm previously would be desirable.
  • Strong management experience and an ability to motivate and develop a growing team.
  • A good understanding of pensions and investments
  • Excellent communication skills and the confidence and ability to provide feedback and training in a positive and efficient way.
  • Good understanding of the FCA and how a Financial services firm operates
