My client, a specialist UK based Engineering Consultancy which specialises in Drainage, Civil and Flood Risk Engineering, is searching for a Flood Risk Consultant to join a new team based in Bristol.

Applicants are required to have a BSc and/or MSc in Environmental Management or Hydrology and experience working for a UK based Consultancy or Local Authority completing Flood Risk Assessments, Surface Water Management Plans and Hydraulic Modelling using Flood Modeller or Tuflow.

Candidates are also required to have experience an interest in pollution, solar and drainage schemes.

This exciting role will offer candidates the opportunity to join an experienced team of Engineers to complete varied residential, commercial, fuel from waste, renewable, battery storage and solar projects for Local Authorities, House Builders, Contractors and Private Sector Clients.

Applicants will also be supported to complete the following;

-Flood risk assessments for flood zones 1,2 and 3.

-Surface water management plans.

-Surface water and foul drainage strategies.

-Detailed design of surface water and foul water drainage systems.

-Hydraulic Modelling using Flood Modeller and Tuflow.

-Site Walkovers.

-Manage Projects and liaise with Clients.
