My Client, a market leading, multidisciplinary Engineering and Environmental Consultancy, is searching for a Graduate Flood Risk and Drainage Consultant to join their Flood Risk Team based in Bristol.

This exciting role will offer candidates the opportunity to join a friendly team of Engineers to complete flood risk, surface water, environmental and drainage projects for Residential Development Projects for Housing Developers, Local Authorities and Private Sector Clients.

As a Graduate Consultant you will be required to complete technical work including;

-Flood Risk Assessments for flood zone 1,2 and 3.

-Flood Risk Mapping using ArcGIS.

-Flood Consequence Assessments.

-Hydraulic Modelling using Flood Modeller and Tuflow.

-Drainage Strategies for Planning Applications and Drainage Design using Microdrainage and Causeway Flow.

It is essential that applicants have a strong BSc and/or MSc in Civil Engineering, Environmental Management, Hydrology or Civil Engineering and experience working for a Consultancy or Local Authority completing drainage strategies or flood risk assessments or hydraulic modelling.

It is essential for applicants to reside locally and have a keen interest in Natural Flood Management, Flood Risk Assessments or Flood Consequence Assessments.
