Job scope:
We are looking to recruit a Freelance Trainer-Oliver McGowan Tier 2 to join us at Catalyst Care Group. In this role, you will deliver The Oliver McGowan Mandatory Training on Learning Disability and Autism to health and social care professionals. As a Freelance Trainer-Oliver McGowan Tier 2, you will use your personal to provide valuable insights into accessing care services and highlight ways to improve them.
The Freelance Trainer-Oliver McGowan Tier 2 will be part of a training team that includes another trainer with similar lived experience and a facilitating trainer who supports the delivery process. The role involves in-person sessions covering essential topics such as learning disability awareness, autism understanding, reasonable adjustments, and effective communication. Full training and support will be provided to help you succeed in this role. Once trained, you will also assist in preparing others to deliver this vital training program.
Do you have?
- Previous experience in training or public speaking is desirable, with confidence in presenting to large groups.
- Proficiency in using PowerPoint and delivering engaging presentations.
- Ability to answer questions effectively while demonstrating active listening skills.
- Skilled in reading or memorising materials for delivery, including visual aids and text.
- Punctuality, professionalism, and a polished appearance.
- Strong teamwork and collaboration abilities to work effectively with colleagues.
