Training Planning and Projects Manager

12 month Fixed Term Contract

Hybrid - 3 days per week in office

I am working with a professional services organisation on a pivotal role within their L and D team.

Collaboration is an important part of this role, You will need to have strong analytical skills in identifying requirements for training and coaching within the organisation.

You will have a role in deciding which resources are required in order to support ongoing and upcoming projects effectively.

You will have a team to support you in the programme delivery across L and D.

You should be someone who aligns yourself with best practice at all times, keeping your industry knowledge up to date, staying on top of training trends and improvements.

Person Specification:

Commercial experience as a Training Manager, Project Manager, or Learning and Development Manager.

Demonstrable Senior Stakeholder experience

Experience managing multiple L and D projects

Project Management methodology certification is an advantage

Strategic mindset

Awareness of learning theory

Leadership skills include communication, change management, wellbeing at work, and team development.

Role responsibilities:

Identifying training needs

Creating business cases to support growth in the business

Development of project plans

Resource allocation

Reporting to Stakeholders, providing data driven insight

Tracking and monitoring success of L and D projects

Ensure governance is adhered to, in support of operational plan

Risk Management

Team Management

Experience and skills needed:

Bachelor's degree in education, HR, or Business

MS Office

Learning Management Systems / LMS / LXP

Certifications in Project Management, Leadership, Change Management are desirable, although not essential.
