This company have been rapidly expanding since 1980 opening sites nationwide, providing technical crane services to a range of clients in aerospace, manufacturing and critical infrastructure. The team of engineers, assisting a range of UK Blue Chip clients, prioritise quality and professionalism in everything they do.

This role will involve travel to a wide range of sites covering multiple industries. The successful candidate will be able to provide maintenance, modernisation, inspections and repairs to a range of cranes including overhead cranes, hoists and lifting equipment.

The Role:

  • Perform maintenance to 3 phase 415vac motors, squirrel cages and contractor control circuits.
  • Mechanical maintenance of medium to large drive couplings, brakes and reduction gearboxes
  • Utilise fault finding and diagnostic skills to communicate faults and discuss repair overviews with clients
  • Perform a range of repairs, both mechanical and electrical, to the following lifting equipment:
    • Vacuum
    • Electro magnets
    • Hoists

The Person:

  • Proven experience in a similar role
  • Proven electrical, mechanical and pneumatic or hydraulic experience
  • Comfortable working at heights and lodging when required
