This is an office-based role
Our client is looking for a credit controller to join their finance team. Working within a friendly supportive team. Central Location with the added addition of parking on-site.
Responsibilities:
- Allocate customer payments accurately.
- Review historical customer payment allocations.
- Prepare and send customer statements.
- Review and send sales invoices with supporting paperwork.
- Chase overdue payments via email, phone calls, and letters.
- Track retention, contra charges, and bad debt.
- Generate reports on payment allocations, debt collection, and financial tracking.
- Perform other finance administrative tasks as directed by the Finance Manager.
The ideal candidate will have previous credit control experience. You will be proactive, detail-oriented, and possess the necessary skills to effectively manage credit control responsibilities. Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, the Credit Control Specialist will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring timely payments from customers.
