Citadel Source is working with a well-established client in the North Bristol area to appoint a Credit Controller to join a friendly team. Our client is looking for someone who demonstrates exceptional communication skills and has excellent attention to detail.
About You
You will have a background in customer service and/or credit control, be assertive, and be able to influence others with strong communication skills. Crucial requirements for this role include exceptional telephone manners, the ability to meet monthly KPIs, and confidently handle customer inquiries. For the right individual, this is a great opportunity to gain further finance experience.
The Role
As a Credit Controller, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Chasing overdue debts and verifying ledger balances
- Monitoring and managing incoming queries and disputes
- Reviewing and allocating payments
- Managing your own ledger with a monthly aged debt target in mind
- Building excellent relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Resolving queries via telephone and email
- When necessary, negotiate repayment plans with compassion for customers facing financial challenges

- A salary of £25,000 to £29,000
