Simple Recruitment are looking for a Sales & Customer Service Administrator for our client based in the Greater Bristol area to join their team on a permanent basis.

Sales administration is a fundamental part of any business, playing a crucial role in helping a sales team function at their best. This role in particular will see the Sales & Customer Service Administrator collaborate with the Business Development Manager and Factory General Manager in helping our client achieve their business goals.

The Job
There are four pillars of responsibilities that define this position; Existing Customer Management, New Customer Onboarding, Sales Reporting, and Team Collaboration. The successful candidate will be able to efficiently undertake all responsibilities under each of these pillars.

Key responsibilities:

  • Manage all incoming customer orders, ensuring clear communication and timely follow-ups, following our sales procedures.
  • Partner with the Business Development Manager (BDM) to onboard new customers, guiding them through the set-up process and ensuring a seamless experience.
  • Generate regular sales reports using data from orders and sales activities to track performance and identify trends.
  • Work alongside the Business Development Manager to coordinate and send out samples, sales materials, and price lists to both new and existing customers as needed.

About you
As a Sales & Customer Service Administrator, you will need to have strong communication and exceptional time management skills as you will be working within a fast-paced environment where no two days are ever the same.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience in customer service or sales administration, ideally in the food and beverage or FMCG industry.
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Proficient in maintaining records and databases.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams, including sales, demand-planning, and logistics.
