Introduction:

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our esteemed client, a major player in their sphere, as a Data Administrator / Data Analyst based in Bristol. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting the client’s carbon reporting obligations, including Scope 1, 2 & 3 emissions. Responsibilities will cover compliance with Carbon Reduction Plans (CRP), the Energy Saving Opportunity Scheme (ESOS), Streamlined Energy and Carbon Reporting (SECR), and UK & EU Emissions Trading Schemes (ETS), alongside other environmental metrics. This position offers a hybrid working model, with a combination of home-based work and attendance at the Bristol office.

Role Overview & Responsibilities:

  • The EHS Data Analyst will focus on enhancing data recording and analytics, developing reporting procedures, and compliance audits.
  • Regular communication with a range of stakeholders to gather and manage data
  • Providing general support to the Environmental, Health and Safety team.
  • Collaborate with global colleagues to align with the client’s wider environmental strategy
  • Play a key role in reporting metrics to internal and external stakeholders.

Areas of focus:

  • Report on Scope 1, 2 & 3 carbon and energy data to fulfil UK and Enterprise reporting obligations, including SECR, ESOS, CRP, and UK & EU ETS.
  • Collect and manage environmental data, creating reportable program metrics.
  • Assist with ISO 14001 and 45001 activities

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Level 3 qualification in environmental studies, data analytics, or a relevant field.
  • Proficiency in Excel and data analytics software.
  • Experience in carbon reporting or data analytics is desirable but not essential.
  • Ability to translate regulatory requirements into clear procedures.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
