About the role

Hargreaves Lansdown (HL) are now recruiting for a Data Management Analyst to join the team. As a Data Management Analyst, your role will be key to supporting digital transformation at HL by ensuring Critical Data meets quality requirements and Governance standards. You will work closely with the existing, growing Data Quality and Governance teams within Data Management whilst embedded with a strategic transformation programme, operating the Data Quality lifecycle to important business services. If you have a data management / analyst / steward background with the skillset below, this may be the role for you.

What you'll be doing

  • Identifying Critical Data Elements used in business use cases.
  • Collaborating with business SMEs to review existing/ create new definitions for Critical Data, populating the enterprise Data Dictionary.
  • Defining and implementing Data Quality measures in a low code Data Management platform against thresholds defined by business data owners.
  • Supporting Data Migration and Business Analysts with source to target Data Mapping activities.
  • Producing Data Quality insight, supporting decision making within the transformation programme around approach and remediation activities.
  • Proposing feasible remediation options to business owners for sponsorship and progression.
  • Orchestrating Data enrichment and improvement initiatives to drive quality and reduce risk with a focus on Client Master Data.

About you

  • Competent in SQL data analysis including ability to identify trends contributing to root causes or systemic issues.
  • Experience with low code Data Management tools e.g Collibra, Attacama, Precisely
  • Experience with Data Ownership Frameworks
  • Experience or knowledge of Data Migrations and / or ETL pipelines.
  • DAMA and / or DCAM qualification

Interview process

This will be a two-stage interview process, including competency-based questions and a task.

Working Schedule

The role is based in our Bristol head office, BS1 5HL. This role is permanent, full time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. We have returned to the office, however for this role we offer a hybrid flexible working pattern.
