We are working with a not-for-profit organisation based in Bristol to recruit a Data Engineer for their growing, friendly, and supportive team. This role offers hybrid working with a requirement to travel to Bristol twice a month.
Key Responsibilities:
- Craft solutions within the product team based on customer requirements
- Facilitate the adoption of a streamlined architecture
- Collaborate on infrastructure upkeep and support
- Oversee AWS (or similar) for configuring services, setting permissions, and deploying software
- Design, maintain, and configure databases within the software environment
- Develop and sustain automated test suites
- Embrace agile methodologies and actively engage in sprint reviews and retrospectives
- Implement and maintain continuous integration and delivery systems
Ideal Candidate: We are seeking a Data Engineer who is approachable, supportive, and forward-thinking. The ideal candidate will have experience in the following areas:
- Technical degree or equivalent experience
- SQL
- Python
- Data warehouse concepts, modelling, design, best practices, data lakes
- Source control
- Data pipeline development
- Snowflake
- CI/CD
- Power BI
- Data Quality Frameworks (e.g., Great Expectations)
