Dental Technician - CAD CAM

Our client, a leading dental milling centre in the UK, is currently seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join their dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity for professionals with experience in the dental milling industry, CAD/CAM, or both.

About the Role:As a key member of their high-performing team of dental and CAD/CAM technicians, you will thrive in a fast-paced environment that offers variety. The ideal candidate will excel under pressure, meet daily deadlines, and be eager to enhance their skills in the digital dental field.

What Our Client Is Looking For:

  • Experience with CAD/CAM software, or a strong aptitude for learning new software quickly.
  • Experience with Exocad or Millbox software would be advantageous.
  • Knowledge of 3D printing is a plus, as this service is growing in demand.
  • A background as a dental technician, or training towards this role, with a keen interest in digital dentistry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and produce 3D printed dental models.
  • Operate CAM software to manage milling machines for dental restorations.
  • Manage workflows using project management tools.
  • Maintain equipment, including cleaning, calibration, and software updates.
  • With experience, provide technical support to dental laboratories via email, WhatsApp, and phone, and contribute to process improvement initiatives.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • A background or keen interest in design, technology, dental design, or digital fabrication.
  • Previous experience with CAD/CAM software is essential.
  • While dental knowledge is beneficial, comprehensive training will be provided.
  • A team-oriented mindset with strong communication skills.
  • Newly qualified candidates will also be considered
