Condition Monitoring Reliability Engineer

The successful CBM Reliability Engineer will receive support and development which will provide you with an excellent opportunity to further yourself and progress your career within a continually expanding business.

The Role:

  • Manage the Condition-Based Maintenance (CBM) program, oil analysis, and lubrication maintenance plans.
  • Oversee all CBM activities, including Vibration Analysis, Thermography surveys, Ultrasound surveys, and other condition monitoring inspections as required by the team.
  • Create new Preventative Maintenance (PM) routines aligned with equipment criticality analysis (FMEA) and review existing PM routines.
  • Be responsible for all lubrication PM routines and oil sampling, working with the maintenance team to create necessary PMs and collaborating with the production team to advance the Technical Operator programme.
  • Collect and analyse data for critical components, producing statistical reports to identify potential issues within the asset portfolio.
  • Collaborate with the Maintenance Planning Team to ensure optimal decisions are made for site-critical assets during maintenance days.
  • Act as a key stakeholder in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) meetings, taking a lead role in Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) and reliability hazard analysis. Document project aspects and provide regular progress reports

Skills, qualifications & experience

Engineering degree.

    • Reliability and Condition Based monitoring experience
    • Strong knowledge of manufacturing and engineering principles.
    • Experience working with Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
    • Proven experience in a Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) maintenance environment.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address potential failures in a timely manner.
    • Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
    • Engineering degree or similar
