Our client in Bristol is seeking Street Cleansing and Cleaning operatives for ongoing work, specifically requiring candidates who can drive due to the use of company vehicles.
Street Cleansing duties include manually sweeping, litter picking, and maintaining compliance with health and safety standards while walking up to 4 miles a day and lifting refuse sacks and wheelie bins.
Cleaning Operatives will provide high-standard cleaning services at various commercial buildings, including tasks like sanitizing, dusting, and waste management.
The pay starts at £12 per hour, increasing to £12.69 for Street Cleansing operatives after 12 weeks of continuous work.
Candidates are expected to have relevant experience, with positions available for either a Monday to Friday schedule or a 4 on 4 off rotation, starting around early August.

Our client in Bristol (who has got two different sites) is looking for Street Cleansing and Cleaning operatives for ongoing work.

**At this moment client is only accepting candidates who can drive as will need to use company cars/vans as part of the job**

Street Cleansing duties will consist ofmanually sweeping, litter picking and cleansing the allocated route, within required timescales and to agreed standards, whilst maintaining compliance with all aspects of health and safety. This will involve working in all weathers walking up to 4 miles a day lifting refuse sacks onto van as well pushing a wheelie bin up to 35 kgs, manually sweeping, emptying bins and digging out the weeds, etc.

Cleaning Operatives will involve going to various commercial buildings to provide high-standard cleaning services for designated customers, ensuring a clean and sanitary environment in various locations across Bristol. This will include cleaning floors, sanitizing, dusting and polishing, waste & recycling management, etc.

Those jobs will either be on Mon till Friday or 4 on 4 off schedule, depending on requirements. Sometimes working for a different department will be required, so must be aware of that. Pay starts on £12 per hour and for Street Cleansing operatives will be increased to £12.69 after 12 weeks of continuous work.

Work should start around beginning of August and several vacancies will be available.
