Attention all Mechanical Design Engineers!

Blueprint Recruitment are working alongside a reputable contractor, who are on the lookout for a highly-skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join their Team. This is a long-term contract position and will be ideal for individuals looking to operate on a largely remote basis, with occasional travel to Bristol.

Our client:

Our client is a UK market-leader in providing expertise based in Engineering Services, as well as the design, installation, integration, and maintenance of mechanical and electrical technologies. The operate across a variety of sectors, including, but not limited to, Building Services, Engineering Services, Infrastructure, and Facilities Management.

Key Responsibilities:

Produce concise Mechanical design deliverables across all design stages
Report to the Design Manager
Produce design deliverables for water, and water treatment plants
Ensure compliance with CDM regulations and all other relevant H&S legislation
Assist in all aspects of mechanical design from site surveys, feasibility studies, detailed design and tender pricing
Monitoring of design delivery performance and efficiency
Conduct regular meetings with project delivery teams
Liaise with Mechanical, Electrical and Civil & Structural Designers

Key Requirements:

Large-scale and complex project experience.
A chartered Engineer status is beneficial
Strong team leader & decision maker with proven experience
Water and Water Treatment design experience is desirable
Good working knowledge of MS packages
Strong communication skills
Full driving licence
