Attention all Mechanical Design Engineers!

Blueprint Recruitment are working alongside a reputable contractor, who are on the lookout for a highly-skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join their Team. This is a long-term contract position and will be ideal for individuals looking to operate on a largely remote basis, with occasional travel to Bristol.

Our client:

Our client is a UK market-leader in providing expertise based in Engineering Services, as well as the design, installation, integration, and maintenance of mechanical and electrical technologies. The operate across a variety of sectors, including, but not limited to, Building Services, Engineering Services, Infrastructure, and Facilities Management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Produce concise Mechanical design deliverables across all design stages
  • Report to the Design Manager
  • Produce design deliverables for water, and water treatment plants
  • Ensure compliance with CDM regulations and all other relevant H&S legislation
  • Assist in all aspects of mechanical design from site surveys, feasibility studies, detailed design and tender pricing
  • Monitoring of design delivery performance and efficiency
  • Conduct regular meetings with project delivery teams
  • Liaise with Mechanical, Electrical and Civil & Structural Designers

Key Requirements:

  • Large-scale and complex project experience.
  • A chartered Engineer status is beneficial
  • Strong team leader & decision maker with proven experience
  • Water and Water Treatment design experience is desirable
  • Good working knowledge of MS packages
  • Strong communication skills
  • Full driving licence
