Nursery Nurse

Our Client are looking to employ a Level 3 Qualified Nursery Nurse for their quality private Day Nursery based in Bristol. The Nursery Nurse must be passionate, enthusiastic and driven to give young children the best early years education and care needed for their development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Have previous experience within a similar role as well as holding a minimum Level 3 qualification in childcare
  • Carefully observing children’s learning and development and documenting this
  • Be caring, hardworking, dedicated and work well within a team
  • Working closely with the management and staff team to create a safe learning environment for children to develop and grow holistically through their play
  • Paediatric first aid, safeguarding and a food safety qualification will also be required however these qualifications can be obtained in house.
  • Planning in the moment and implementing learning experiences in alignment with the EYFS framework
  • Developing enabling environments which meet individual needs in line with the Froebelian approach
  • Working closely with the management and staff team to create a safe learning environment for children to develop and grow holistically through their play
  • Building positive relationships with children and families
