Early Years Teaching Assistant

Avonmouth Church of England Primary School are seeking an experienced Early years Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team, providing crucial support in our Reception class. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring that all students, including those withSEN, receive the personalised assistance they require to thrive academically and socially.

We are situated in Avonmouth village and welcome children from Nursery through to Year 6. Requirements:
- Proven experience supporting SEN.
- A thorough understanding of various special educational needs, including but not limited to Autism, ADHD, and speech and language difficulties.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and external specialists.
- A compassionate and patient approach, coupled with a genuine passion for making a positive impact on students' lives.
