An inclusive Primary School in the BS48 area of North Somerset is looking for a Learning Support Assistant to join their energetic and friendly EYFS team.

This school adapted their curriculum to provide learning opportunities to children individually. This comes in the form of hands-on experience, trips and visitors to enhance children's understanding and broaden their knowledge of the world around them.

The Role

This is a Full-Time opportunity for someone with experience of working within an EYFS setting.

As a successful candidate, you will be joining the Nursery and Reception class, working closely with the Class Teacher to support small activities inside and outside of the classroom.

The school is looking for a candidate who is empathetic and patient, working with the class teacher to support the pupils learn and develop at their own pace.

You will be expected to:

  • Have experience working with children.

  • Be patient, creative and energetic.

  • Be willing to learn and develop professionally.

  • Be flexible and use your own initiative when supporting children.

  • Work collaboratively with the Class Teacher and other EYFS staff.

  • Communicate clearly the development and progression of the child’s ability.
